Supporters Gathering – 8 November 2025

On Saturday 8th November, our Supporters Gathering brought together Trustees, volunteers, and long-term friends of the Karunai Illam Trust at the Study Group rooms in Hobson Crescent, Wellington. It was a wonderful afternoon of connection and shared purpose — hearing updates on how the children at the Illam are thriving, upcoming fundraising plans, and reflecting on our f inancial progress.

A highlight of the day was an inspiring presentation from Victoria University students, who shared their research on partnership good practices and fund raising strategies including marketing to younger cohorts.
