Jean Watson’s 92nd Birthday Anniversary

On October 28, the Illam community gathered to honor our founder, Jean Watson. The event was marked by a deep silence, and the children responded with singing.

The event concluded with a documentary screening that chronicled Jean’s inspiring journey from a New Zealand writer to the founder of this home of compassion. Her legacy remains the guiding light for everything we do.
